Shannons Nostalgia Drag Racing Series, Willowbank Race Way Sunday, August 17
“Start your engines" and watch Willowbank Race Way come alive with hot rods and classic cars at the Nostalgia Drag Racing Series. Enjoy a family fun day out with trade stands, yesteryear memorabilia, kids rides and a classic car show, why not show your own?

Not only will you have unlimited access to the pits but you will also be part of an event where you can take a step back in time and see front engine dragsters, hot rods and American and Australian muscle cars and sedans both racing and being a part of the car show in the pits.

Blue’s Rally (Qld); 26—28 September. The venue is great, at Cooyar, one of the greatest locations for a rally & a fantastic ride to get there as well. Entry fee is $20 which includes camping and a patch or badge, or just $10 for a day pass. Everyone who comes will be accommodated with camping area guaranteed. Bikers Art X-posed (Qld); 26 September—5 October. Kenilworth Hotel will be the main venue for the bike-art display. Bike enthusiasts share a common appreciation for the universal language of bike themes. This year’s show will present: Art on jeanery, art on canvas, photography, wood works, sculpture, pottery, airbrushing, tattoo art. Kenilworth is situated on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland & is connected in all directions with beautiful roads running through untouched rainforests & mountain ranges. Frogs Hollow Run Bike Show

The show is on Saturday 27th september at apple tree creek hotel on the bruce hwy near childers qld. gates open to the public at 10.00am. we have a ten class show for all types of bikes with trophies and prises.live bands from 12.00 noon with australias best guitatist Phil Emmanuel as well as top classic rock band "flame" and also the wise guys. there is a burn out comp on the purpose built pad,charity bike bash,stalls camping available,drinks at the frogs hollow bar, hot food and meals available and all in the shady surrounds of the pub.
the show is put on by consolidated bikers association australia and this is our 3rd annual show. we are a social club with men and women riders and always have a ball...

23 to 26 October 2008 - Indy 300 Grand Prix - It’s a race, a party, an eyeful and an earful! Including champ cars and V8 supercars . The event contains ninety-six hours of on and off track entertainment in one of the world’s most famous beach cities, the Gold Coast.

The Australian Motorcycle Expo Brisbane will relocate to the Gold Coast, and will run hand in hand with the newly-incepted Australian Scooter Festival and Australian Personal Watercraft Show (PWC). The February 19-22 2009 event will be hosted by the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
